1940’s to 1990’s

This area was the biggest change in fire trucks. The trucks grew in size, they started carrying more equipment, metal aerial ladders were introduced and firefighter safety became a concern. I remember as a child seeing trucks with no roofs (open cabs) and started my career with a truck with the rear seats open to the elements.

If the truck you want has an open back, then I will make the interior of the front of the cab open with all the details. I have made ones with the front of the cab solid and I prefer them open.
